JAMES NEISH is a freelance artist, illustrator, graphic recorder, and creativity coach based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Much of their work focuses on representing the causes and concerns of marginalized groups, particularly the 2SLGBTQIA+ Community, First Nations & Indigenous People, newcomers, immigrants, and so on. In coordination with the Outreach Program Coordinator of the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning, they bring creative visual arts programming to the Adolescent Intensive Services (AIS) program of the IWK and the youth who attend the MacPhee Centre's programs. His apartment will always be full of plants, fish, drawings, and music.
